X is an annual award that recognizes outstanding contributions by scientists, researchers, engineers and social scientists in India. By recognizing and rewarding extraordinary accomplishments, X aims to elevate the prestige of pure and applied sciences research in India. The awards are given in five categories namely Physical Science, Mathematical Science, Engineering and Computer Science, Life Science and Social Science.
