X and Y are two cricketers who hold a unique record of having scored maximum runs and taken maximum wickets respectively among players who haven’t played  a single world cup match.

X is regarded as one of the finest wrist players ever produced,often called poetry in motion.Countless no. of times he has saved his team and won matches from hopeless conditions.He has scored more than 2,000 runs in ODI’s but still he has never played a single world cup match.

Y was once hailed as the next big thing in cricketing world.He shot to fame with his exploits in under 19 cricket.He was instantly called up for national duty and he performed.But somehow he got dropped from the team and never really made a comeback.He holds the record of taking the maximum no. of wickets among players who have not played any match in the world cup.He has more than 150 wickets in ODI’s.

    X is indeed v v s laxman,but Y is not agarkar.Another hint for Y ,his elder brother who debuted much after him managed to get selected in world cup team but he hasn’t.
